My Story

On the 23rd July 2015 i was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. I was only 15 months old!! Thank goodness my Mummy noticed that I was drinking far too much and having much heavier nappies than normal. I was very very sick by the time I got to hospital but I'm made of strong stuff so here I am 🤩

I got a FitBit for my 6th birthday on the 10th April and I've become totally obsessed with counting my steps...Mummy says I'm driving her mad but then she had a FABULOUS idea! I can put all of my steps to good use and raise money for a charity that works really really hard to find a cure for T1 Diabetes. I'm definitely up for that!!

I'm only 6 years old but Mummy & Daddy say I'm the bravest person they know (my little sister is pretty brave too-but that's a story for another day!!) Mummy has to jab me with needles ALOT...it keeps me alive, so I'm ok with that. But I cry sometimes, I get really really scared...and Mummy cries too...😢 I like to stay positive so I won't dwell on the details...all you need to know is Type One is RUBBISH and if JDRF can find a cure then I'll do anything I can to help!!

I'm going to walk 400,000 steps in 40 days! I'd really love it if you could donate even £1 towards my goal....I'll keep you all posted!
